Morgana (formerly Crissy)

NBRF prefers for our available dogs to speak for themselves but there are times when we must be their voice. Such is the case for Crissy.
This darling little girl had never been vetted, she had never been allowed in the house. She, her Dam, Sire and Sibling were poisoned; she was the only one to survive. At four years old, she weighs just 40 pounds.
A veterinarian tried to get her help and out of the place she where she was surviving. Animal control became involved just as NBRF received the hot line call from her owner.
Animal control worked with NBRF. Crissy is now safe, under our protection. She’s had a wellness check and updated vaccinations. She is calm and sweet. As she relaxes and realizes the goodness of life, her personality will begin to shine.
Crissy needs, she deserves a patient, empathetic person/family to help heal her body and soul. Someone to give her room to grow and become the Borzoi she was always meant to be.
A special shoutout to NBRF’s own Edna who ran to the rescue for Crissy making back to back to back days long trips to get this girl to safety. Thank you, Edna, you are a Superhero!!

Crissy got exactly that. Now and forever known as Morgana, more than just her name has changed. This girl now knows love, comfort and joy. She knows family ❤
Congratulations, sweetheart, you've been adopted!!
"This is where she was meant to be, she found her family. From rough beginnings to a royal life! Endless love, treats and tummy rubs."
Thank you Erica and Brandon for opening your hearts and home to this special soul. Long may you love ❤
