Would you like to know more about me? I am a West Coast, outdoor loving, adventure kind of girl. I can take care of myself but I do so appreciate a bit of pampering! Being close and loved and petted and KISSED makes me very happy. Some may even say that I’m sweet but shhhhh… a girl has her reputation to keep!
Car rides are special! They are usually a precursor to adventuring and my skills at loading up and heading out are exceptional! I’m pretty darn good at leash manners too, if I do say so myself. I’m getting to know the other Borzoi, a Greyhound and cats (what ARE they??) where I’m currently hanging. The sighthounds are cool but the cats… I’m not so sure about them yet.
My previous family loved me very much and we were sad to part ways but they did a kind thing and asked for help when they could no longer give me my best life. I’m safe and loved while decompressing, adjusting to this life altering change. Everything is going to be wonderful."
Mackie is five years old and being fostered on the West Coast. She is an exception to the rule and has lived successfully with a four foot fence. She loves to be close to her family, enjoys an active lifestyle and would thrive with a companion to share in those adventures.
You met her as Mackie, a fun loving, outdoorsy kind of girl looking for her next adventure. Her former family loved her very much but knew that they could not continue to give her the best life she had been living. NBRF promised that we would ensure her happily ever after and found her the perfect family with which to live her next chapter.
After a period of adjustment this darling girl, now and forever known as Lonnie, has found her joy again! If a photo is worth a thousand words then this super cute video is worth a thousand times more than that!! We are so happy for you, sweetheart ❤❤
