Bella formerly known as Bree

Bree: “Do Not Fear, the past is behind you”, said the angel named Paula who visited me at the shelter.
She brought comfort, gave me my name, Bree, and contacted NBRF to tell them of my situation. We waited many months, silently wishing, earnestly hoping for me to be released but the road to my freedom was long and steep. Neither NBRF or Paula ever gave up. In the end there was light and my new life has finally begun.”
Paula: “Bree is a gentle, loving girl who was always receptive to touch and most appreciative of kindness. We kept the faith together that a better tomorrow was on the horizon. I brought her delicious treats, a big fan to help cool her down as well as a mobile grooming kit to work on removing some of her many tight, painful mats. We chatted and bonded. Bree was so grateful and we will hold each other with love always. Bree is a gift, an Angel herself.
NBRF: “Bree is a superhero! She doesn’t want to talk about her past and is focused on the future. Her NBRF future began with an Angel and she continues to meet more and more. We are her village! She is a lovely white and champagne 5 year old 77lb lady who radiates joy. Her superpower is the ability to live in the moment. She is not shy or cautious but rather outgoing, happy and social. She loves to sit with her head in your lap being gently touched and talked to. If a nap is in order, she will gladly lay at your feet, touching you somewhere as she nods off.
Bree is food motivated and very smart! She’s met children of all ages as well as adults and has not had a single issue with any. She is, however, a fierce huntress and should be considered NOT small animal tolerant or cat safe. A six foot fence is a necessity. Bree is being fostered in the Mid-Atlantic states.
