Niki

Ahh…. My Nikita, (Lily). She came at such a dark time in my life. She helped me care again. I had been through tremendous lose. Physically and emotionally. Niki was a bit of a spook. She needed extra care, and patience. That was a life saving distraction. Niki came around to trusting those in the household. She absolutely loved my last greyhound, and all the littles I had. She was a gentle soul. Would look you in the eye and I would swear that you could see into the depths of her heart and soul. Nikita love the quiet of the rural living that we have here. She had 2.5 acres to roam on. The small quiet walks that we could take. She walked on a lead like she was born to it. I could be upset and she could feel it and those times would be the few time she would truly come looking for you to give comfort. I had an emergency adoption of an at risk greyhound and she took him by her side. Showed the quiet love that she shared with any and all. When Nikita passed, she left a gaping hole here at Grey Acres. That is a hole that will never be filled. The grace and calming influence is greatly missed. Sheila Sentena 2023
