Locket

Our dear Locket was everything that embodied a Borzoi. She came to us as a foster and we knew instantly she was an angel is disguise. It’s difficult to find the words to describe Locket’s sweet, gentle, and loving nature. We believe she was the most angelic dog that ever walked this earth. If you look into her eyes you will see the most beautiful soul. We were blessed to share our lives with Locket for 9 amazing years. During that time, she became best friends with our other Borzoi, Java until his passing, which she affected her very deeply. This is how sensitive and loving Locket was. We brought a herding puppy into our nest and as rambunctious as he was, Locket’s grace and gentleness never wavered. Locket, was a once in a lifetime dog for which we have NBRF to thank. At almost 12.5 years of age, Locket’s body could no longer support her. We made the heart wrenching decision to let her go peacefully with dignity, in our home, with the help of a Veterinarian from Lap of Love. Locket will be forever in our hearts.
