Fig Nadeau

Fig 12/17/2012 - 03/09/2020

It is with great sorrow that we are announcing the loss of our sweet funny rescue Figgy. His journey started in Alabama as a rescue puppy in need of a home. We were looking for a companion for our two Borzoi Otto and Olive, and Fig was the perfect fit. He was always a character, kept us on our toes and made us laugh. Saly he became ill in late January 2020 and the diagnosis was heart wrenching, lymphoma. He will alwasy be in our hearts and there will never be another Figgy.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Alice Merritt Lloyd for being his foster Mom before we adopted him, the National Borzoi Rescue Foundation (NBRF) for entrusting us to love and care for him and the many care givers in both CT (Veterinary Wellness, New Haven & Central Hospital, North Haven) and ME, (Portland Specialty Hospital) who were there to care for him and keep him comfortable.

He will be deeply missed by his companions Otto, who is almost 13 years old, and Brava, almost 6 years old, his first BFF Ohlin and the people he owned, Jackie and Joe Nadeau.
