A Moment in Time...

"Several years ago my friend with her little daughter came to visit us in our home in Ukraine. I took the dogs to another room, because I was not sure if a small child would be frightened by many big dogs. But the girl knew that we have dogs and she asked me to let her see them.
The first dog to meet her was big young male with very sweet character. When the girl saw the dog, she got really excited, looking at a borzoi like he was a real miracle and tried to hug him. Our Borzoi looked at her with shining eyes and a smile on his face. They were very happy together.
Now it is just a warm memory from our past life, which we had before the war. We are all in different countries and places - the girl with her mom are in Germany, I am in Poland, and my husband is in Ukraine. But we still can have our memory, hope and dreams...
