Ann Marie has 54 years of experience with sighthounds. From Afghans to Borzoi (32 years); from breeder and show home to advocate and pet home. Her involvement with NBRF began 10 years ago assisting with foster care for multi-dog rescues, and most recently assisting with NBRF's International rescue.

Her business career spans several decades in the commercial real estate business consulting for private investors and public REITs. In 1999, Ann Marie co-founded Sierra Communities, a real estate investment company specializing in the acquisition and management of investor grade multi-housing communities. Ann Marie is approaching retirement this year and her transition to become more involved with NBRF could not have come at a better time!

In addition, Ann Marie served on the board of the Nassau Humane Society for two and a half years helping to facilitate the development of a new animal shelter as well as chair fundraising committees.
