Lucky 13 - Prima

NBRF Lucky 13 rescue - Prima is a loving 6 year old adjusting to the pampered life. A soft soul in need of patience, she will give you her heart but you must earn her trust; one you must work for but who will blossom into the keeper of your heart. She is worth the effort!

​Do you love to cuddle? To run your fingers through silky fur? To witness the effortless movement of Borzoi strength and grace? Her calm demeanor and gentle "asks" for your kindness are just a fraction of the beauty that is Prima. She is poetry in motion, grateful for everything and you will be happy to give her your all.

​Prima is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and is being fostered in North Carolina. She has spent all of her life around other Borzoi, but has no experience with small dogs, cats or other types of dogs and will need a securely fenced yard with a 6 ft privacy fence.

"When Sherri and I picked up Monty in May, we also transported his mama. She stayed overnight at our house with Monty until going to her foster home the next day. I cried as I drove away with her, realizing I had separated them from each other for the first time ever. They had been together since Monty was born (4 1/2 years).

After losing Razor, and finishing our 2 months of pet sitting a friend's Borzoi, Monty was lonesome and depressed. I knew he needed another pack member and I couldn't get "Mama" out of my mind. We are sooooo grateful that this week we were able to reunite Monty and his mama, Prima!!!

She is very shy, but already starting to warm up to us and approaches us for pets and cuddles. Prima, Prima Ballerina, we are so glad you are part of our pack!"
