Lucky 13 - Monty

Another Lucky 13 rescue finds his Happily Ever After with a beautiful family! Thank you Robin, Darwin and Nikki for making this special boy's dreams come true.

"After losing our beloved, Ezra, we were looking for a Borzoi with the right temperament to be my next therapy dog. Ezra was my heart dog and we worked 10 years together. I knew it would not be easy to find another Borzoi to fill the role of therapy partner. But then I met Monty, and from that moment I knew he was meant for me. He looked into my soul the same way Ezra always did.

And now Monty is officially "fur-ever" ours! Big-time foster failure! Thank you National Borzoi Rescue Foundation for picking the perfect Borzoi for us to foster! This boy is a super laid back, cuddler.

When we met him, Sherri said "he's champagne!" I thought... let's name him Spumante and call him "Monty"! Darwin said he thought Spumante was sissy, but he liked Monty. That's when Nikki said, Monty, as in Monte Cristo! So.... Monty it is! To celebrate his adoption, we had Monte Cristo sandwiches and Spumante!"
