Lucky 13 - Calla/Kala

"My name is Kala and I am part of the NE rescue that happened a few weeks ago. Some of us have already found our forever homes, but I haven’t yet.

I am in a wonderful foster home learning about other dogs outside of my pack. I loooooove my foster dad and follow him everywhere so I think I would be a perfect daddy’s girl for someone. My foster mom says that I am nearly perfect, which is about as good as it gets, nobody is truly “perfect” where’s the fun in that?"

Lovely Kala is 4 ½ years old and is being fostered in Ohio, she is up to date on vaccinations and HW negative. She has not been around small dogs, cats or young children, but was good with respectful older children.

Another NBRF Lucky 13 rescue Kala, known now as Calla, finds her forever!!

"We recently adopted Calla, one of the “Lucky 13”! We are honored and thrilled to be entrusted with her care by NBRF. She is a smart, beautiful, sweet, and affectionate 4 1/2 year old girl. It is such a joy to see her settling into her forever home and we love having her!

Thank you so much to the dedicated and devoted team at NBRF with special gratitude and love to Liz, Edna, and June. Suzanne and Scott did a wonderful job fostering her and we are so very grateful for their help.

Coincidentally Suzanne and Scott named her Calla which is a beautiful variety of the lily flower and our previous adoption from NBRF was named Lily. It must have been fate! What an amazing tribute to our dear beloved Lily who lost her battle with cancer a year ago."

The joy on your faces is unmistakable!! We believe in fate and know that Lily is smiling down on you three. Thank you, Michelle and Jay for opening your hearts and home once again to a special soul in need! Long may you love ❤
