Lucky 13 - Bunny aka Hazelinka

Insider info from Hazel’s foster mom - "Hazel continues to do well. She is a nice mix of cuddly but happy to explore and hang out on her own.

She is all out crazy at times and can sometimes encourage the others to join in. She loves shoes and basically anything that “falls” in her mouth. Amazingly, she has not discovered the remote yet."

Hazel is a 7 month old puppy girl that is looking for a home with a playmate(s), a large fenced yard and someone that is looking to accompany her on her amazing journey from puppy to adulthood.

She has not been around cats or small dogs.

“We are soooooo happy! Our road trip was a piece of cake. Bunny, formerly Hazel, is a perfect traveler. She was a delight on our 20 hour ride home, so quiet and patient.

My dad, who drove out to a suburb north of Chicago with me to pick her up (thank you Laura for keeping her at your beautiful house!) must have said four times on the ride home, “your husband has no idea how much he’s going to love her!”

Well he sure does! Bunny joins her brothers, Manny and Brad, in Bozeman, MT where they are having great fun together, chasing one another through our yard. Bunny also throws herself toys then chases them too. She’s been joining the boys in group howls, which she took to right away. They all sing in the morning with my alarm—a long time family tradition that is really funny.

There isn’t a couch or bed in the house that she’s not made herself at home on. She is definitely fitting right in! This girl has a big personality, is a bit of a wild child, and we love her to the moon and back. She’s one of the most affectionate borzoi we’ve ever had, and drapes herself in laps. She revels in attention.

We are enormously grateful to NBRF, Edna, June, Liz and Laura for helping with this rescue. Thank you for helping us bring Bunny home.”
