Titan is a 5 year old neutered male who is up to date on vaccinations and is heart worm negative.  He walks well on lead and gets along well with other large dogs in his household.  It is unknown how he would do with small dogs or cats as there are none in his foster home.  He likes to play with toys and fetch, and loves a good cuddle.  This boy will make someone an excellent companion as he looks to his person for leadership and love.

Titan has an occasional rear end limp and upon examination by a sight hound savvy veterinarian it was noted:

On physical examination there was no laxity in the stifle, or lower limb.  I did find some evidence of pain on extension of the left hip joint.  Radiographs of the pelvis showed mild joint incongruity and osteophytosis of the femoral neck (Morgan's line).  There was also a mild scerosis of the femoral head.  In addition it appeared there could be some evidence of lumbo-sacral disease.

This can be a progressively worsening disease and any adoptive home must realize that Titan can not take rough and tumble play nor periods of moderate to heavy exercise.

This special boy is looking for a home with a soft bed, warm heart, kind hands and lots of love.  If you are interested in adopting Titan, please fill out our adoption application and email it to Carol Backers at   cbackers.nbrf@gmail.com

UPDATE - Titan has been adopted by his foster Mom!
