Simon has been adopted
Meet Simon!! pictures taken at 11 weeks old
Simon is a survivor as his litter came down with parvo at just 6 weeks of age. Another rescue bought Simon and his 6 litter mates at six weeks of age from a puppy miller. Four days after they arrived, they all came down with parvo. Four of the seven puppies survived and Simon is the last surviving puppy to find his forever home. He is absolutely precious!
Simon is 14 weeks old as of 10/3/08
Simon is currently living in Lake Butler, FL with his foster mom Susan Jacobsen-Grove and her family. He's growing and getting stronger every day. His personality is so sweet and loving and Simon is very soft in temperament. He may be soft and sweet but he is not shy. Simon gets along well with Susan's other Borzoi including her puppies and adults. He runs and plays and at this point is perfectly normal. He just has some catching up to do.
Because of him having parvo, we will not be neutering Simon before he is placed into his new home and his adoption fee will be less than our normal fee. His new home will be responsible for his neuter by the time he is 12 months old. Also, because of the parvo, we do not know what the future holds for Simon due to the virus. He may have special needs as he gets older or he may not. We simply can not know.
We are looking for that special home who will love our Simon and give him the life he so deserves filled with happy times, fun and family. He will do well in just about family setting. Due to his young age, he should get along with cats and even small dogs. I think he would like children too as long as they understand that dogs are not "Toys" and be respectful.
Simon is in no way alpha. Just a sweet Boy who needs his own family to love and love him.
