Ruth and Naomi have found forever homes
Both Girls are good with other dogs including small (not toy) dogs and are good with children. No cats though. They both have been shaved down so their coats are short. They are a little shy at first with new dogs but soon warm up and are friendly with other dogs. We feel they can be separated or they can go together. Also, they are not comfortable in dog parks so, no dog parks.
Both Girls are house and lead trained for the most part but should be crated when their people are away and at night. They are still puppies!! Both girls know "sit", "wait" and "go" commands.
If you have room in your home and heart for one or both Girls, please fill out our Adoption Application which can be found on our website www.nbrf.org and email to Carol Backers at firstname.lastname@example.org
As always, location is a concern. NBRF can help with some driving but, if you are quite a distance, you should be prepared to do a lot of driving or pay for transportation.
Ruth's ( black & white ) date of birth is 1/16/15 putting her at just 19 months old. She is the more timid of the two but does warm up quickly and LOVES people!!! The term "addicted to people" has been used. She knows how to work a room and everyone believes Ruth would make an excellent therapy dog for visits to hospitals, nursing homes or children's hospitals. She is that sweet. It is possible that Ruth may be happy as an only dog but only if someone is home most of the time.
