I was chatting with Dennis Barnes today and he was telling me that Evah, his borzoi, is 13 y.o. Dennis knows he is blessed to still have Evah with him. Here is her photo. Nothing like a senior borzoi face with the brown around the muzzle.
I adopted Evah through NBRF from the late Sue Breaz in northern Indiana in December of 2010. She had no name when Sue took her in as a foster, only a cow’s ear tag around her neck with the number 12 on it. Evah was the first of eventually three Borzoi for me and now she’s around 13 years old. Because of her background with Pickle Hill her birthday was never really known. It’s been a pleasure living with her and watching her grow into the beautiful grey old lady she has become over the last 10+ years!
