I met Jewel's foster mom on the Pennsylvania turnpike in the snow Feb 15, 2014. Jewel and I had a very long wonderful ride to Connecticut. She sat very composed on the back seat, and when we got home it was snowing. I let her in the front door and she ran upstairs to my bed and danced on it.
I took her outside and trained her to use our dog door.

Jewel is now over 12 and I call her ambassador zoi. She regally allows people to approach her at the park and at my dental office. Many folks think she is an anteater crossed with a golden retriever. We correct them gently. She is slowing down but loves the park. She is a true joy. She stars on you tube in Casey Sugarman's oscar training videos. We are best friends
